Corris Craft Centre Access Statement

Open daily 10am to 5.30pm from Easter to beginning of November. Between November and Easter it may be worth you contacting the individual workshops direct before making a special journey.

Situated on the main A487 between Machynlleth and Dolgellau. There are regular public transport services from both towns to Corris. Bus No. 32 alights at Corris Craft Centre or No. 34 alights at Braich Goch Bunk House which is a walk of only a ¼ mile along the main road.

Free admission to Craft Centre.

There is ample free car parking with blue badge spaces within a few yards of the Craft Centre.

Disabled toilets for both men and women are available together with baby changing facilities. There is room for a wheelchair in the disabled toilet but limited space for a carer. There is also a high dependency unisex disabled toilet unit accessible 24 hours a day by RADAR key.

The Craft Centre is on one level with paved walk ways. Access to the Café Y Crochan and the Tourist Information Point is either by four steps or a ramp. The individual Craft Workshops are accessed by a slight ramp.

The Picnic areas are on uneven grassed surfaces.
