Make your own Crafts

Visitors to Corris Craft Centre can now Get Crafty through a range of craft workshops being offered by the Craftspeople themselves. There are workshops to suit all ages and abilities.  Birthday parties are a speciality.

Pottery painting in the Paint Pot Studio at Quarry Pottery. Paint your own pot, jug, plate or dragon.  Using stencils, sponges and lots more, get really creative. The very young can decorate with hand prints and simple pictures. Great presents for your family & friends.

Allow 1 ½ - 2 hours with a maximum of 10 people seated at any one time. The Paint Pots Studio is suitable for all age groups and prices start at £4 per painter. For 8 or more painters the price is reduced to £3 each. The cost of the crockery (which will be painted) starts at £3.50 per item.

Your finished items will be fired, glazed and cooled and can either be collected from the Paint Pot Studio or be posted to you.

Design & Make your own Cards at Design-a-Kard with an exciting selection of stick-ons, ribbons and crafts.  Allow 1 ½ - 2 hours with a maximum of 8 people seated at any one time. Design-A-Kard sessions are suitable for adults and children from the age of 5 and cost £4 per person.  Finished creations can be taken home. Please book in advance.

Create your own candles at The Candle Studio. Starting with a wick, dip into colourful dipping waxes to create a very colourful and unique pair of tapered candles. Allow 15 minutes for 2 people to create their candles, there is room for others to watch whilst they wait. Candle dipping is suitable for adults and children from the age of 5 and costs £5 per person. You get your very own pair of tapered candles to take home.

Mix your own herbals in the "Cauldrons Corner" area of the Spellbound Herbals Studio. Using a range of Welsh mountain herbs and natural ingredients, you can create your own hand decorated cauldron filled with Spellbinding mixtures.

Sylvanflair offer furniture building courses, which teach the skills needed to source materials and create your own unique designs. At the end of the course the furniture can be taken home for free! Courses start from £100 and last for a whole day.

Our Craft workshops are ideal for small group outings perhaps a group of friends wanting something different, a WI group, a youth club outing, a works outing or a birthday party.

Groups and Birthday Parties must book in advance, otherwise if you're passing and fancy a quick dabble just pop into the craft workshops!
