Winter Opening Times

Please note, many of our craft studios are on reduced opening times over the Winter period. If you are making a special journey please be sure to check the opening hours below. During inclement wintery weather these times may change so it's worth phoning ahead of making a special journey.

Studio Winter Opening Times
The Candle Studio Studio now closed until Thursday 21 February 2019. The studio will open from Thursday to Sunday for the February Half Term weeks, so 21 to 24 February and 28 February to 3 March from 11am-4pm. It will then open on weekends only until 1st April.
Chocablock Studio now closed until Saturday 16th February. It will then open every day from 10am to 4pm until Sunday 3rd March. It will then open on weekends only until 1st April. Outside of these days, chocolate orders can be placed on their website.
Agau Jewellery Studio Studio now closed for the winter but if you would like to visit they are happy to arrange an appointment for you. Please email them to arrange a mutually convenient time. Jewellery orders can be placed on their website.
Delyn Glass Studio is now closed and reopens on the 1st February when it will be open on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 4pm. At other times you can find Kevin's range of glass sculptures on his website.
The Dyfi Distillery Limited The shop is now closed and will reopen Thursdays to Sundays from 10am to 4pm for the February half term weeks - 21-24 and 28 February to 3 March. You can find their range of gins online and order from their website.
Quarry Pottery Studio is now closed until Saturday 16 February when it will be open every day for the Half Term holidays until 3 March from 10am to 4pm. It will then open Mondays to Fridays until 1st April. Their website is open all day everyday where orders can be placed.
Spellbound Herbals Studio is now closed for the winter months. Orders for Sarah's herbal lotions and remedies can be placed through her website.
Taran Eco Designs Studio is now closed for the winter months and will reopen on 1st April 2019. In the meantime you can contact us by email
Tawny Owl Toys and Gifts The studio is now open by appointment only (please telephone us before making a special journey) until 16th February when it will open for every day of the February half term until 3 March. The studio will then open by appointment only until 1st April when it will be open every day.

Corris Craft Centre Studios

Entry to the Craft Studios is free, you can browse, see the designer-makers and buy their handmade wares. The hands-on and fun sessions are available in many of the studios, it's best to book these popular sessions in advance.

King Arthur’s Labyrinth

King Arthur's Labyrinth is now closed for the winter season.  It reopens on Monday 1st April 2019 with regular boats sailing into the Labyrinth between 10am and 4.45pm (last boat leaves reception).

The underground adventure is very popular and boats get quickly booked. You can book online up to the day before you wish to visit.

The Labyrinth adventure is underground so please wear warm clothes (even on a scorching hot day!).

Corris Mine Explorers

Open all year round, Corris Mine Explorers offers a choice of underground trips:

Half Day Mine Expedition: £56 (minimum age 13)

The underground caverns have a cool year-round temperature of 8º so please wrap up warm. Also be warned, this is an authentic, untouched slate mine – you may get dirty and there’s usually a few puddles of water so be sure to wear a few pairs of thick socks. We can lend you a pair of wellies if you don't have any...

Bwtri y Crochan / The Y Crochan Larder

Call in to find delicious Welsh food and drink and Welsh gift Hampers.

We are now closed until the February half term weeks and will open Thursday to Sunday from 21st to 24th February and from 28th February to 3rd March 2019 from 10am-4pm.  We will then open on weekends only until 1st April when Bwtri y Crochan will open daily until 3rd November from 10am to 5pm.

Y Crochan cafe is now closed until the February half term weeks and will open Thursday to Sunday from 21st to 24th February and from 28th February to 3rd March 2019 from 10am-4pm.  We will then open on weekends only up until 1st April, after which our delicious food and drink will be available every day from 10am to 5pm until 3rd November.

It's free admission to the Corris Craft Centre and free all-day parking too!

Bringing along your Dog

Dogs are welcome, on a short lead, into the outside areas of the Corris Craft Centre. They are not allowed into the food shop or cafe but there is an outside eating area. Dogs are allowed into the craft studios (with the exception of the Chocablock chocolate studio and Dyfi Distillery) at the discretion of the individual craftspeople. Dogs are also allowed into the Visitor Information Centre, the King Arthur's Labyrinth reception area and our outdoor maze Lost Legends of The Stone Circle. We regret that the underground Labyrinth trip is not suitable for dogs.
