Where to Eat

We are delighted to announce that Y Crochan cafe and Bwtri Welsh food and drink shop have now reopened. We are so looking forward to welcoming you back safely. We will be offering a limited take away cafe service with benches dotted around the Craft Centre for you to sit and enjoy your food and drinks and the stunning scenery.

Please see our Covid-19 statement for further details.

Y Crochan café serves a delicious menu of Welsh inspired food and drink. It's at the centre of 9 craft studios and a range of tourist attractions which start from the Corris Craft Centre.

The all day menu served at Y Crochan café features fabulous ingredients which have been grown, reared and produced in Wales. Our menu is inspired by our surroundings and the availability of fresh seasonal produce.

Our hugely popular range of Welsh rarebits uses a traditional Welsh recipe (and a secret ingredient) which has been enhanced to also include tasty toppings such as bacon, garlic mushrooms and the Hot One with Welsh mustard.

We offer hot and cold food and drink throughout the day. Call in for morning coffee, lunch or afternoon tea with Y Crochan baked scones and bara brith. There's free WIFI too.

Many of the ingredients used in our cooking come from the well stocked shelves of Bwtri Y Crochan (translating into English to the Y Crochan Larder), the Welsh food and drink shop which is next door to the café. We use it and you can too. A delicious selection of Welsh food and drink gift Hampers are available all year round or order a bespoke hamper with all of your favourite Welsh produce packaged inside.

The café seats up to 80 so is also perfect for group meals and there is additional seating outside. There’s a small children’s play area right next to the outdoor seating so perfect for keeping an eye on your little ones whilst you relax. For young families we have high chairs and a bottle warming facility.

We've been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating (which is the best) which means we take our food hygiene seriously - as well as our fabulous food, of course.
