Eat & Drink at our Dog Friendly Cafe
During the Winter months the Corris Cafe opens every day from 10am to 4pm. The Corris Cafe with wifi is a fabulous place to eat and a finalist in the “best places to eat in Mid Wales” category of the Mid Wales Tourism awards 2019/20. Our dog friendly cafe serves a delicious all-day menu featuring fabulous local ingredients which have been grown, reared and produced in Wales. The menu is inspired by the local surroundings and the availability of fresh seasonal produce. The Corris Café is right next to the 9 Corris Craft Workshops, is dog friendly, and includes wifi. It's a great coach meal stop in Mid Wales.
A selection of hot and cold food and drink is served throughout the day. Enjoy freshly ground Welsh coffee, tea, hot chocolate. Or why not try a cold drink with a great selection of locally baked cakes and biscuits. There’s an all day Breakfast bap menu too.

Our menu is a welcoming blend of the finest Welsh ingredients, local recipes and delicious dishes. The gourmet hot dog and burgers are firm favourites, where they are made especially by award-winning local butcher Rob Rattray. Our irresistible Rarebit combines Welsh Cheddar with Purple Moose Ale. The fully loaded cake counter includes freshly baked scones, bara brith, shortbread, and flapjacks.
Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea for two with a selection of sandwiches and cakes. We have mini quiches, Welsh rarebit topped brioche, freshly baked scones and bara brith, chocolate fudge cake, raspberry ripple cheesecake, salted caramel brownie, homemade lemon treacle tart – just to name a few. Everything is served with either freshly ground coffee or brewed tea. Please pre-book your afternoon tea as we prepare and bake the items to order. Afternoon teas will be served once again in Spring 2024.
Please inform the staff about any food allergies or special diets, and they will be able to cater for your needs. We strive to maintain a family friendly restaurant experience, with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.
Choose to eat indoors, the café seats up to 80 so is perfect for group meal stop mid Wales, or sit at picnic tables outside where you can soak up the stunning Mid Wales views. There are tables overlooking the small children’s play area where you can keep a watchful eye over your little ones. For young families there are high chairs and hot water can be provided for heating your baby’s bottles. The outdoor seating area overlooks the Mach Loop, a training area used by the RAF and USAF for their low flying fast aircraft, so you may get treated to a free air display too.
The Corris Café has been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating which means they take their food hygiene seriously – as well as their fabulous food, of course. Enjoy free wifi using the passcode "Arthur".
