The Corris Cafe is one of the best places to eat in Mid Wales if you're looking for delicious, locally sourced food in Mid Wales or North Wales, we're right on the border. The Corris Cafe was a finalist in the Mid Wales Tourism Awards for the Best Place to Eat. The Corris Cafe is a dog friendly cafe and serves a great selection of home cooked food including vegan friendly and gluten free options. Corris Cafe opens daily from 10am to 5pm. Corris Cafe is also one of the most creative places to eat, surrounded by 9 craft workshops and next to the award-winning King Arthur's Labyrinth and Corris Mine Explorers underground attractions. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. The Corris Café has wonderful views of the densely wooded hillsides of the Corris valley – this is where the underground attractions are hidden.

At the Corris Café we source the finest local produce from across Snowdonia, Mid Wales and North Wales. It's fresh and seasonal, creating delicious food and drink.  Mouthwatering dishes are served throughout the day. Enjoy an all day range of Breakfast baps, pancakes and crispy hash browns and then from11.30am our delicious lunch menu too with our popular Welsh rarebit, homemade soup and Welsh lamb cawl, quiche, burgers and moreish hot dogs. We're a vegetarian and vegan friendly cafe, with vegan burgers and hot dogs available amongst other options. You can also enjoy freshly made soup, hot pasties, sausage rolls, breakfast baps, a range of sandwiches, kitchen baked scones and a range of cakes. Try the delicious coffee, hand roasted in south Wales and freshly ground by our trained baristas, a range of teas, hot chocolate and a selection of cold drinks.  Check out our menu. Sit at one of the many tables outside and soak up the stunning views of Southern Snowdonia.  

Fabulous afternoon teas are also served; these indulgent treats are especially made to order and should be booked in advance.

During the summer holidays, we also have a pop-up Ice Cream Parlour where Mario's award-winning Welsh ice cream is served and our popular Utterly Mutterly doggie ice creams too. 

WELSH DELI, A GREAT FOOD & DRINK SHOP 

Opposite The Corris Cafe is the Welsh Deli, a Welsh food and drink shop exclusively stocked with produce that has been grown, reared or produced here in Wales.

Much of the produce is from small artisan producers nearby. Many of the ingredients used in the café kitchen come from these well stocked shelves. A delicious selection of Welsh food and drink gift hampers are also available or order a bespoke hamper with all of your favourite Welsh produce carefully packaged inside.

You will also find the Café's award-winning Bara Brith. Many of the products found in the Welsh Deli have been awarded a coveted True Taste award. You will find a good selection of Welsh cheeses including cheddars, goats cheese and other soft cheeses, butter, milk, pates, preserves, honey, jam, biscuits, cakes, apple juice, sauces, dressings. There's also a range of Welsh whiskeys and liqueurs, 34 different bottled beers, 11 different ciders and much more. Welsh food and drink Gift Hampers are now available, or you can make your own bespoke hampers by choosing from our growing range of produce. Come along and find a little taste of Wales to take away with you or to give to someone special, they make great presents.

The Corris Café seats up to 80 people, making it a perfect Snowdonia restaurant meal stop for coaches and groups. Further seating is available outside, much of which overlooks the small children’s play area, ideal for keeping an eye on your little ones. High chairs and a bottle warming facility are available.

Please inform the staff about any food allergies or special diets, and they will be able to cater for your needs. We strive to maintain a family friendly restaurant experience, with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.

Choose to eat indoors, the café seats up to 80 so is perfect for group meal stop mid Wales, or sit at picnic tables outside where you can soak up the stunning Mid Wales views. There are tables overlooking the small children’s play area where you can keep a watchful eye over your little ones. For young families there are high chairs and hot water can be provided for heating your baby’s bottles. The outdoor seating area overlooks the Mach Loop, a training area used by the RAF and USAF for their low flying fast aircraft, so you may get treated to a free air display too.

The Corris Café has been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating which means they take their food hygiene seriously – as well as their fabulous food, of course.
