Kat and Ann
Ann first developed her traditional hand-crafting skills in the Welsh Valleys being taught by her father. She then passed those skills onto her daughter Kat and now together have combined their passions for leather and wool to create Hyde and Sheep.
Wool & Leatherwork Shop
We use traditional leatherworker crafting methods to create bespoke bags, custom dog collars, belts, and even dragon heads! The artisan leather for each item is hand-picked, cut, stained, tooled, and stitched to create unique pieces. Wool gifts are made from wool from local welsh mountain sheep hand-spun in our studio on a traditional spinning wheel.
Our Inspiration
At Hyde and Sheep, we are constantly inspired by the history surrounding us. Traditional methods of living and working can be seen all throughout our local area. At every turning you can see Welsh Mountain sheep roaming the mountains, which is our favourite type of fleece to spin! Come visit us on your family days out in North Wales, you won’t be disappointed!
