The Corris Cafe is a fabulous place to eat and one of the best places to eat in Mid Wales. A finalist in the “Best Place to Eat in Mid Wales” (Mid Wales Tourism awards 2019/20) ,The Corris cafe serves a delicious all-day menu featuring fabulous local ingredients which have been grown, reared and produced in Wales. The menu is inspired by the local surroundings and the availability of fresh seasonal produce. The Corris Café is right next to the 9 Corris Craft Studios. Dogs are now welcome in the cafe and the adjoining Welsh Deli.
A selection of hot and cold food and drink is served throughout the day. Enjoy freshly ground morning coffee (the coffee beans are expertly roasted by the Baristas at Zealots Coffee in North Wales) tea, hot chocolate or a cold drink with a great selection of locally baked cakes and biscuits. There’s an all day Breakfast bap menu too.
The delicious lunch menu includes the popular Welsh Rarebit prepared with a traditional Welsh recipe and some tasty extras. Brand new for 2022, The Dyfi Dog - the dogs are made especially by Rob Rattray Butchers (also available in the Welsh Deli next door) and served in a brioche bun with optional mustard, ketchup and caramelised onions. Slaw and crisps, chips or sweet potato fries on the side. The burger menu includes Welsh steak, Welsh lamb, barbeque, Welsh rarebit and vegan burgers, all served on a sourdough beer bun. Other options include homemade soup, Welsh Lamb cawl, a range of jacket potatoes and freshly cooked pasta dishes.
Enjoy a delicious Afternoon Tea for 2 with a selection of sandwiches, mini quiches, Welsh rarebit topped brioche, freshly baked scones and bara brith, chocolate fudge cake, raspberry ripple cheesecake, salted caramel brownie, homemade lemon treacle tart all served with either freshly ground coffee or freshly brewed tea. Please book your afternoon tea for 2 by calling beforehand.

Choose to eat indoors, the café seats up to 80 so is perfect for group meals, or sit at picnic tables outside where you can soak up the stunning Mid Wales views. There are tables overlooking the small children’s play area where you can keep a watchful eye over your little ones. For young families there are high chairs and hot water can be provided for heating your baby’s bottles. The outdoor seating area overlooks the Mach Loop , a training area used by the RAF and USAF for their low flying fast aircraft so you may get treated to a free air display too.
The Corris Cafe has been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating which means they take their food hygiene seriously - as well as their fabulous food, of course. Additional measures are also in place to help to keep you and our staff covid secure. Enjoy free WIFI.
