Eat & Drink at our Dog Friendly Cafe
The Corris Café is one of the best places to eat in Mid Wales if you're looking for delicious, locally sourced food in Mid Wales or North Wales, we're right on the border. The Corris Café was a finalist in the Mid Wales Tourism Awards for the Best Place to Eat. The Corris Café is a dog friendly café and serves a great selection of home cooked food including vegan friendly, gluten free and dairy free options, there's free WIFI too. We now open daily from 11am to 4pm with a pop-up Welsh Deli too. Check out our Menu
The surrounding Craft workshops and visitor attractions will reopen later in the spring.
Corris Café is also one of the most creative places to eat, surrounded by 9 craft workshops and next to the award-winning King Arthur's Labyrinth and Corris Mine Explorers underground attractions. Seating is available both indoors and outdoors. The Corris Café has wonderful views of the densely wooded hillsides of the Corris valley – this is where the underground attractions are hidden.
At the Corris Café we source the finest local produce from across Snowdonia, Mid Wales and North Wales. It's fresh and seasonal, creating delicious food and drink. Mouthwatering dishes are served throughout the day. Enjoy our deliciously popular thick cut bacon bap or shitake mushroom burger bap. Fresh homemade soup is served with crusty bread and our hot hog roll is filled with pulled pork, stuffing and bramley apple sauce. Enjoy delicious handmade cakes and biscuits with a range of delicious coffees, hand roasted in south Wales and freshly ground by our trained baristas, a range of teas, hot chocolate which now includes indulgent hot chocolates and a selection of cold drinks. Relax in our cosy snug with a glowing fire.
During the summer holidays, we also have a pop-up Ice Cream Parlour where Mario's award-winning Welsh ice cream is served and our popular Utterly Mutterly doggie ice creams too.
Please inform the staff about any food allergies or special diets, and they will be able to cater for your needs. We strive to maintain a family friendly restaurant experience, with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options on our menu.
Choose to eat indoors, the café seats up to 80 so is perfect for group meal stop mid Wales, or sit at picnic tables outside where you can soak up the stunning Mid Wales views. There are tables overlooking the small children’s play area where you can keep a watchful eye over your little ones. For young families there are high chairs and hot water can be provided for heating your baby’s bottles. The outdoor seating area overlooks the Mach Loop, a training area used by the RAF and USAF for their low flying fast aircraft, so you may get treated to a free air display too.
The Corris Café has been awarded a 5* Food Hygiene Rating which means they take their food hygiene seriously – as well as their fabulous food, of course.
